POCATELLO, Idaho – Despite a career-high in kills from Julia Queiroz, the Seattle Redhawks fell 15-25, 21-25, 15-25 to UC Irvine Saturday morning. Queiroz led the way for the Redhawks, recording almost half of the team's 30 kills.
Ezgi Ozkan had 14 assists, her 13th double-digit assist match since the start of 2021. Even Kerschenbaum had seven kills, while Sierra Bartley had five and Sam Hayward four.
The Redhawks had to fight from early deficits in each set but were unable to mount large enough comebacks to clinch a set.
