SEATTLE – Seattle University men's soccer has 11 home matches slated for its Fall 2021 schedule, released this morning. The Redhawks return many key contributors from this spring's squad that advanced to the WAC Tournament semifinals.
Coach Pete Fewing begins his 28th year at Seattle U as his group takes on a challenging schedule. SU welcomes Cal State Fullerton (Aug. 26) and UC Davis (Aug. 28) to Championship Field to kick off the new campaign.
The Redhawks travel across the country to face Charlotte (Sept. 2) and Duke (Sept. 6) in a pair of coastal contests.
SU returns home to host Oregon State (Sept. 10) and Dartmouth (Sept. 12) on campus before traveling south for a match at rival Portland on Sept. 17. The Caffe D'arte Coffee Cup will be on the line the game.
On Sept. 20, the Redhawks host Washington for the WAC/101 Club Cup at Championship Field.
WAC play starts after that, as Seattle U heads to defending conference regular-season champion Grand Canyon on Sept. 25. SU then faces UNLV (Oct. 1) and Dixie State (Oct. 3) at home.
The next week, the Redhawks hit the road for games at California Baptist (Oct. 7) and Utah Valley (Oct. 9). On Oct. 16, SU welcomes defending WAC Tournament champion Air Force for a key conference showdown.
Following a trip to Incarnate Word (Oct. 22) and UTRGV (Oct. 24), Seattle U closes the regular season with a three-game homestand. Houston Baptist (Oct. 29), Chicago State (Oct. 31), and San Jose State (Nov. 6) visit Championship Field to cap the schedule.
GCU will host the 2021 WAC Tournament in Phoenix in mid-November.
