SEATTLE – Seattle University women's soccer will host a pair of summer ID camps on July 12-13 at Starfire Sports Complex and Aug. 7-8 on SU's campus. The cost starts at $125 per camper.
The camps provide players ages 13 and older the opportunity to be seen by the Seattle University coaching staff in a competitive atmosphere.
Training begins at 2 p.m. on July 12 at Starfire. Games will be played starting at 3:30 p.m. The following day, training starts at 9 a.m. The camp will conclude at 2 p.m. Registration is limited to 50 participants.
The August camp begins at 1 p.m. at SU Park on August 7. This camp will be open to the first 100 registrants.
"We always find great players at ID camps," said Coach Julie Woodward. "It's a terrific opportunity to work with future Redhawks and the level of play is tremendous. The campers also get to experience our coaching style and what it's like to play for Seattle U."
SU advanced to its nation's-best eighth straight WAC Tournament Championship game this past season. It has qualified for five NCAA Tournaments since 2013.
