COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Division I Scholar All-America Teams for Spring 2021 on June 16, with Seattle University men's and women's swimming each being recognized.
With a collective 3.62 GPA, the women's program recorded their 20th-consecutive mention in the CSCAA's semester honors since the 2011-12 season. Meanwhile the men, which notched a 3.24 GPA, picked up this their eighth-consecutive honor and 19th all-time, also dating back to the 2011-12 campaign. The Redhawks was one of just three WAC members to have both men's and women's teams make the list.
During the Spring term, the CSCAA recognized 285 Division I programs, with 110 men's teams and 175 on the women's side. In order to qualify, teams must post a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher during the semester/term.
