SEATTLE – The Seattle University Dance Team is now accepting video audition submissions for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
The video audition submission deadline is May 28, 2021 at 11:59 PM PT; any partial submissions, incorrectly formatted submissions, and/or submissions received after this deadline will not be considered. This deadline is subject to change based on CDC recommendations and restrictions. We will notify all interested participants should any deadlines change.
Auditions must be submitted via video. There will be no in-person audition events. Audition material--consisting of an introduction, technique combinations, a jazz combination, a sideline combination, and a set of interview questions-- will be posted in a public folder, accompanied by specific instructions on how to submit a video audition. Should you be selected to be a part of the Seattle University Dance Team, please anticipate a tentative summer program to learn choreography and to get to know your fellow teammates! This program is dependent upon current and future CDC guidelines and thus, does not have a set date. We are monitoring the situation continuously, and will provide notice as far in advance as possible.
We will be hosting a clinic on Instagram live (@SeattleUDanceTeam) on Tuesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. PT to go over audition material. Please follow us on Instagram for updates.
