KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sydney Carr and Michele Adam of Seattle University women's soccer have been named United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region, the organization announced Tuesday. Carr was picked first team, while Adam was a second-team choice.
Carr, a junior from Orange, Calif., leads the nation with 16 goals and 38 points this season. In her first season as a Redhawk, she tallied three hat tricks, including a four-goal, two-assist performance against Chicago State on Mar. 18 at Championship Field. Carr was WAC Offensive Player of the Year and an All-WAC First Team choice.
Adam is a sophomore out of Morgan Hill, Calif. She anchored an SU defense that allowed just 1.11 goals per game this season. Adam added a goal and an assist offensively. The centerback earned All-WAC First Team honors this season.
The Redhawks won the WAC regular-season title and advanced to its nation's best eighth straight WAC Tournament Championship game.
