DENVER, Colo. - Seattle U's Peggy Rooke was named on the All-Tournament Team for her performance in singles at the 2021 Western Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament on Thursday, following a vote by the five head coaches who competed last weekend in Las Cruces, N.M.
The senior from Malmo, Sweden, played a crucial part in Seattle U's victory over Chicago State in the first round, clinching the match deciding point against Sofiya Sedovich by a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
"I am so happy for Peggy," said Head Coach Kristina Hollander. "It is great for her to end her college career on a such a high note as she always represented the SU program the right way."
