LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Seattle U women's tennis opens postseason play this weekend at the 2021 Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament in Las Cruces, N.M., at the NM State Tennis Center from Apr. 30-May 2.

On Friday, #5 Seattle U opens the tournament against #4 Chicago State at 8 a.m., with the winner going on to play against #1 Grand Canyon on Saturday, also at 8 a.m. On the other side of the bracket, #2 New Mexico State will battle against #3 UTRGV with the time still to be determined.

"I am looking forward to watching our women battle tomorrow," said Head Coach Kristina Hollander. "Each match this season, has been a learning process for me and team, as we are always looking to improve. This year, we have had a great chance to learn a lot about each other, which has really helped me to understand what this program is really going to need moving forward."

Saturday, May 1
Match Two: Winner Match One vs. No. 1 Grand Canyon, 8 a.m.
Match Three: No. 3 UT Rio Grand Valley vs. No. 2 NM State, TBA.

Sunday, May 2
Match Four: Winner Match Two vs. Winner Match Three, 8 a.m.
