NEW ORLEANS, La - Seattle U men's and women's cross country teams have both been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-Academic Teams list, the USTFCCCA announced on Thursday.
To qualify, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Seattle U women posted a composite 3.56 GPA, while the men boasted a composite of 3.31.
"We are incredibly proud of both our men's and women's programs for their excellence once again in the classroom," said Head Coach Kelly Sullivan. "Especially during a time of zoom classes, we understood that it could be quite difficult. We are very proud of each and everyone of them."
Both teams also received the USTFCCCA'S All-Academic award the last two years.
