DENVER – Noe Meza of Seattle University men's soccer has been picked Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Offensive Player of the Week, for the period ending on Mar. 21. Meza scored four goals, including his first career hat trick, in two Redhawk wins.
On Sunday, Meza scored three goals in 11:02 of play to lift SU to a 7-1 win over Incarnate Word. Meza converted a penalty kick and then finished two point-blank shots in the second half as the Redhawks set a Division I program record with seven goals on the day.
Meza scored the game-winning goal at Air Force on Tuesday. His goal in the 65th minute held up as SU claimed a 1-0 win.
The Redhawks welcome Utah Valley for a WAC match on Friday night.
