SEATTLE – Seattle University softball has announced the signing of Grace Luderer as part of the Class of 2021. Luderer joins Kalyn Hill, Amanda Morris, and Katie Walling in Coach Geoff Hirai's class.

"The last piece of the puzzle for the 2021 class is pitching," said Hirai, in his sixth season at SU. "Grace has competed for championships in high school and played on great travel teams. Her competitiveness and talent will impact us right away."

Luderer, a native of Tarzana, Calif., is a dual threat. The 5-10 senior at Louisville High pitches and plays outfield and first base. On the club circuit, she has been a member of OC Batbusters Corominas (2015-2018), OC Batbusters Konis/Bennett (2018-2019), OC Batbusters Stith (20129-2020), and OC Batbusters Lara/ Portesi (2020-2021).

At Louisville High in 2019, Luderer was picked Cal High Sports All-State and Los Angeles Daily News All-Area, and CIF Player of the Year. She threw a 19-strikeout no-hitter in 2020.

Seattle U heads to Montana for three games this weekend.
