DENVER – Georgia Kehoe of Seattle University women's basketball has been named Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Player of the Week, for the period ending on Jan. 31. Kehoe was key to the Redhawks' weekend sweep at Chicago State.
 
In Friday's 70-57 win over the Cougars, Kehoe led SU with 18 points. She grabbed five rebounds to go with three blocks and two steals. She followed with 10 points, seven boards, four assists, two blocks, and two steals in Saturday's 64-39 victory.
 
Kehoe, a sophomore out of Brisbane, Australia, has had a solid season in her first year as SU's starting center. She is averaging 11.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in 13 games.
 
SU has won four straight games and returns home to host Northwest on Saturday, Feb. 6. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. at the Redhawk Center.
