ABOUT THE SERIES VS UTAH VALLEY
Seattle U and Utah Valley are meeting for the 22nd time, with the Redhawks leading the series 11-10 all-time. Seattle U swept the home-and-home WAC series in 2019-20 including a runaway 83-50 victory in the Redhawk Center on Jan. 11, 2020.  Riley Grigsby led SU with 17 points, Delante Jones had 13 and Terrell Brown had 12 as 10 total Redhawks scored in the win. On Feb. 8, 2020 in Orem, the end result was the same, but this time it took extra time and a game-winning runner from Morgan Means to seal the road win for the Redhawks. Terrell Brown led all scorers with 28 points and Means finished with 19. UVU swept the home-and-home series in 2018-19, winning, 88-78 in Orem and 77-68 in Seattle. The teams split the home-and-home series during the previous two seasons, each winning on their home court.

WAC HOME GAMES TO STREAM LIVE ON ESPN+
Beginning with the start of WAC play January 15-16, Seattle U men's basketball home games will be streamed exclusively on ESPN+. The move to the ESPN platform provides the Redhawks with enhanced national exposure, adds talking points for recruiting and provides value-add for Seattle U partners. Seattle U's presence on the ESPN+ platform is not new. The Redhawks have previously been featured in select WAC Games of the Week. The WAC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments are also carried ESPN+ with the men's championship game broadcast on ESPNU. Numerous conference and non-conference opponents also stream games onto the ever-growing digital platform. ESPN+ content is available to stream in HD through the ESPN app on numerous connected devices (Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire devices, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Oculus Go) and on ESPN.com. A television subscription through a cable, satellite or digital provider with access to ESPN's traditional TV networks does not include access to ESPN+. As access to ESPN+ remains unavailable outside the US, international fans will continue to be able to watch games via the WAC Digital Network.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK
For a second consecutive season, the Redhawks are among the nation's best in taking care of the basketball. In games played through Jan. 12, Seattle U ranks No. 17 nationally in turnover margin (4.8) and 17th in turnovers per game (10.4). Both of those marks top the WAC. In seven of 12 games this year, they have kept giveaways to single digits. Last season, the Redhawks finished second nationally in fewest turnovers, and eighth in fewest turnovers per game (10.2).

BREAKOUT SEASON
As a sophomore in 2019-20, Riley Grigsby averaged 9.7 points while shooting 38 percent from the field and 23 percent from three. He is shooting better than 49 percent from the field and 42 percent from three. He has scored in double figures in all but one game, and has surpassed 20 points six times, including a career-high 28 points in the season opener at Portland.

TRAMMELL NAMED WAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The sophomore guard from Marin City, Calif., helped Seattle U end 2020 on a high note, scoring 25 points to go with 13 assists in an 84-68 win over Portland, the second win over the Pilots this season. He stayed on the court for 39 minutes to earn his first double-double of the season as he led SU in scoring for the fifth time this year. His points and assists led to Trammell having a hand in 53 of the Redhawks' 84 points on the night. He also added three rebounds, one steal and one block.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
