SEATTLE – Seattle University women's soccer graduate Jessie Ray has signed a professional contract with Maccabi Kishronot Hadera in Israel.
Ray has traveled to Hadera, Israel, and will join the squad in the midst of its season.
Ray graduated from Seattle U last summer following a standout career with the Redhawks. She graduated with a 3.95 grade point average, majoring in cell and molecular biology. On the field, she was named WAC Offensive Player of the Year, leading SU to the 2019 WAC regular-season and tournament titles. Ray scored in overtime to lift the Redhawks to the WAC Tournament crown, earning Tournament MVP honors. She was also a 2019 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region pick and a 2018 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team choice.
In her four years, she helped Seattle U appear in three NCAA Tournaments, winning three WAC Tournaments and a pair of WAC regular-season titles. She ranks third in program history in career goals (25), assists (20), and points (70).
