SEATTLE – Seattle University softball has signed Jasmine Wehn for the 2021 season. She joins Brooke Jordan and Virginia Nemeth in Coach Geoff Hirai's signing class for next season.

"Jasmine plays for one of the premier travel ball teams in the country (So Cal Choppers Fausett) and she will bring a competitive edge to our program," said Hirai. "We look for her to impact our program right away."

Wehn, a native of Chatsworth, California, started all four years at Chatsworth Charter High. She hit .536 and was chosen 2019 First Team Los Angeles City Section All-League as a senior. In 2018, Wehn earned First Team Los Angeles City Section All-City.

The Redhawks won nine games in their abbreviated 2020 season, including a win over No. 18 Missouri, SU's second win over a nationally-ranked team in the last two seasons.
