MOSCOW, Idaho
— Day two of the head-to-head with Idaho, produced another quality showing by Seattle U women's swimming as it won two events. The Redhawks tied Idaho in the evening session, 42-42, however fell in dropped the morning session, 55-9.

"We had another solid day of some great swims and overall I'm pretty happy with our performance," said Redhawks head coach Craig Nisgor. "The things I am more excited about though, is how they have come together as a team as the sessions have gone on, and I think that was a big factor for how well we did in the evening." 

The Redhawks began the day with the quartet of senior Allison Plamondon, sophomore Danika Himes, senior Bryn Lasher and freshman Emilia Culberson placing second in the 200 medley relay (1:47.91).

Sophomore Isabella Guadiamos then followed with a second-place finish in the 400 IM (4:36.67), while freshman Maggie Robben also picked up a podium finish during the morning session, placing third in the 200 free (1:55.26).

The evening session for the Redhawks meanwhile was headline by sophomores Danika Himes (100 breast - 1:04.74) and Alexa Hoeper (200 back - 2:04.90) who topped the field in their respective events. 

In the 100 butterfly time trail, Lasher (58.32) and senior Sherlyn Devadason (59.71) finished first and second, respectively. Plamondon finished second in the 100 free (52.98), while Robben claimed her second podium of the day, earning third in the 100 breast (1:07.12). 

The weekend head-to-head will draw to close tomorrow with the fourth session featuring the 400 medley relay, 500 free, 200 breast, and 200 fly. Action is scheduled to begin at 10 am and will be streamed on Facebook Live.
