DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has released its men's soccer schedule for the upcoming season. Seattle U men's soccer will play five home games at Championship Field, as the conference slate opens on Feb. 6. The WAC Tournament will feature six teams competing from Apr. 13-17 at UNLV.

Coach Pete Fewing will begin his 27th season at Seattle U. "I'm excited about the schedule," said Fewing. "One game a week will be a unique and fun experiment. The WAC has a lot of good teams that are underrated and we're excited to go play them. Thanks to Dave Chaffin, the WAC, and the Seattle U Athletics Department on working hard to get this right and pull all of this together."

In 2019, the Redhawks won the WAC regular-season and tournament crowns and then beat Loyola Marymount in the NCAA Tournament. They played Stanford to a draw before the Cardinal advanced on penalty kicks. SU enters the new season on the longest unbeaten streak in Division I men's soccer (16 games).

On Feb. 6, the Redhawks host UTRGV to kick off the WAC schedule. They travel to Houston Baptist on Feb. 13 for the WAC road opener. Following a bye, SU welcomes UNLV on Feb. 27. It heads to Dixie State and Air Force for a pair of road matches. On Mar. 20, the Redhawks host Incarnate Word and then welcomes Utah Valley on Mar. 27 at Championship Field.

Seattle U heads to California Baptist on Mar. 31 before returning home for senior day against Grand Canyon on Apr. 5. The regular season wraps at San Jose State on Apr. 9.

The WAC Tournament starts on Apr. 13 at UNLV. The top six teams will qualify for the tournament.
