DENVER – Seattle University women's basketball will host four weekend series at the Redhawk Center, as the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has announced its schedule for the 2020-21 season. SU will also travel for four two-game sets in conference play.

"I like that we're never on the road two weekends in a row and that we finish at home for the first time in a few years," said SU Coach Suzy Barcomb.

Seattle U opens the WAC slate at Utah Valley on Friday, Jan. 15. It will face the Wolverines again the next day.

In the WAC home opener, SU will welcome new conference member Tarleton State for a pair of games on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 at the Redhawk Center.

After a weekend trip to Chicago State, the Redhawks will host another new WAC foe, Dixie State, on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6.

Seattle U heads to New Mexico State before hosting UTRGV Feb. 19-20. It plays at Grand Canyon for the final road trip of the schedule. The Redhawks take on California Baptist on senior weekend from Mar. 5-6 at the Redhawk Center.

The 2021 WAC Tournament will be held at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas from Mar. 10-13.

Barcomb, entering her fifth season at SU, will return several key contributors this year. Junior Courtney Murphy and redshirt juniors Hailey Vice-Neat and McKenzi Williams have each been strong performers for the Redhawks in their careers.

The Redhawks' non-conference schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
