Men's Soccer
Kyle Bjornethun scored in the 104th minute to lift the Redhawks to a 1-0 win over Utah Valley on Oct. 15, 2014, at Championship Field. Shane Haworth claimed the shutout with nine saves in net. A foul on Utah Valley set up the free kick by Ian Hines-Ike in double overtime as Bjornethun was able to get a head on it for the game-winner, his second career goal.
Women's Soccer
Stephanie Verdoia tallied a career-high eight points, putting up two goals and four assists in a 6-1 win at New Mexico State on Oct. 17, 2014. Verdoia scored in the seventh minute and then assisted on three goals in the first half. Verdoia followed with a penalty kick conversion and another helper in the second frame on her way to WAC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Volleyball
In 2013, Kerry Lane recorded 60 assists tying the fourth-best mark in the program's Division I era against Grand Canyon. In 2017, Tijana Milojevic recorded a career-best 33 digs at Chicago State. Since becoming a Division I program in 2008, the Redhawks have a 2-1 record on Oct. 14.
Women's Golf
SU closed out its fall season on Oct. 15, 2019, with a strong second-place finish at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, held at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash. As a team, the Redhawks shot nine-over par, with a program-record third round of two-under. Kimberlee Tottori finished fourth in the three-round event, shooting a 68 in the first round.
