Men's Release | Women's Release
NEW ORLEANS – Seattle U's men's and women's cross country teams have both been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-Academic Teams list, the USTFCCCA announced on Thursday.
To qualify, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The Redhawk men posted a composite 3.21 GPA, while the women boasted a composite 3.56.
"I am very proud of both the men's and women's teams," said Head Coach Kelly Sullivan. "Balancing academics, athletics, internships and work isn't easy to do, but we are blessed to have 32 combined athletes who do this for three competitive seasons each year. They truly deserve recognition for their successes."
Both teams also received the USTFCCCA's All-Academic award last year.
