KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seattle University men's soccer has claimed a 2019-20 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award. SU earned a 3.328 grade point average for the academic year, marking its fifth time in the last seven years with a team GPA above 3.0.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.
The Redhawks won the 2019 WAC Tournament Championship and beat Loyola Marymount in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. They are the lone Division I program to win at least 11 games in each of the last seven seasons and own the longest active unbeaten streak in the nation (16).
