COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Seattle U men's and women's swimming were each recognized as a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division I Scholar All-America Team for the 2020 Spring Semester, announced Monday, June 29 by the national office. This is the second time both teams were named during the 2019-20 academic year.
In order to qualify, programs must post a collective grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the semester. This semester, the CSCAA acknowledged a record 789 teams from 461 institutions.
The women's program earned its the 18th-consecutive mention in the CSCAA's semester honors, dating back to the 2011-12 campaign. Meanwhile, the men picked up their sixth-consecutive mention and 16th overall mention by the CSCAA dating back to the 2011-12 season.
