SEATTLE — Seattle U swimming head coach Craig Nisgor announced the addition of Allie Freeman to the 2020-21 women's lineup.
Freeman was a four-time varsity letterwinner at the McNeil HS in her native Austin, Texas, where she specialized in the breaststroke and individual medley. A two-time team MVP in 2018 and 2019, Freeman has also garnered four all-region and all-district honors while swimming for the Mavericks.
The incoming freshman was also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council and Key Club. Freeman also spent one year competing for the Waterloo Swimming Club.
"I'm excited to add Allie to our lineup," said Nisgor. "She is a versatile talent that will to add depth to our roster particularly in the IM, back, free and breaststroke events."
Freeman's commitment pushes the Redhawks' incoming class to seven, as she joins Emilia Culberson, Cassandra Koester, Manna Nelson, Sarah Harman, Kennedy Philbrick and Maggie Robben.
