Brown Named First Team All-District

Seattle University's Terrell Brown has been named to the 2019-20 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 6 First Team, as selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I.

SEATTLE – Seattle University's Terrell Brown has been named to the 2019-20 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 6 First Team, as selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I.

The redshirt junior from Seattle, put up a Western Athletic Conference-leading 20.7 points per game during the 2019-20 season, while also adding 6.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.4 blocks in 36.0 minutes per game.

Brown finished out the season ranked 20th in the nation in points per game, also finishing eighth in total field goal attempts, 23rd in made field goals, 43rd in minutes and 46th in total points.

The 6-1 guard scored in double figures in all but one game for Seattle U. He poured in 20 points or more on 16 occasions, and turned in four 31-point efforts, his career high. Brown earned three WAC Players of the Week this season, bringing his career total to five in two seasons.

Brown's milestone season also included surpassing 1,000 career points as a Redhawk, doing so in just 59 games. He has also entered the Redhawks' all-time top-10 list in assists, logging 291 during his first two seasons.

In addition to his All-District honors, Brown was also named to the 2019-20 All-Western Athletic Conference First Team, marking the second year in a row he was tabbed by the league. In 2018-19, he earned All-WAC second team honors as well as a spot on the WAC All-Newcomer team.
