DENVER – The leading scorer during Western Athletic Conference play and among all league players for the entire 2019-20 season, Seattle U men's basketball's Terrell Brown has been named to the All-WAC First Team, announced Tuesday.

Brown, a redshirt junior from Seattle, put up 21 points per game during WAC play, while also adding 5.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. He also led all players in minutes, averaging 37.4 per game.

The 6-1 guard scored in double figures in all but one WAC game for Seattle U. He poured in 20 points or more on eight occasions, and turned in three 31-point efforts, his career high. Brown earned three WAC Players of the Week this season, bringing his career total to five in two seasons.

The postseason honor marks the second year in a row Brown has been tabbed by the league. In 2018-19, he earned All-WAC second team honors as well as a spot on the WAC All-Newcomer team. Brown's milestone season has included surpassing 1,000 career points as a Redhawk, doing so in just 59 games.

The Redhawks finished the regular season at 14-15 overall. After having their final two WAC contests cancelled, they finished a shortened 7-7 in league play and went on to earn the third seed in this week's WAC Tournament. First round action begins Thursday, March 12 as the Seattle U faces Utah Valley at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
