DENVER — The Western Athletic Conference announced Wednesday, that Seattle U baseball was picked seventh in the 2020 WAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Redhawks, which were 13-39 overall last season, collected 35 points. The Redhawks were sandwiched by CSU Bakersfield at sixth (39) and Utah Valley at eighth (29).
Atop the table was Grand Canyon as it received 73 points and two first-place votes. Sacramento State trailed by two total points, but hauled in four first-place nods. NM State was picked third with 66 points and two first-place votes, while UTRGV, with two first-place votes, and California Baptist tied for fourth at 55 points. Northern Colorado (18) and Chicago State (9) rounded out the 10-team field.
