SEATTLE — Seattle University women's swimming will close the book on its 2019-20 regular season when it hosts Western Athletic Conference foe, Idaho, at the Redhawk Center on Saturday, Feb. 1. The slate of events is scheduled for a 1 pm start.
With an eye on the WAC Championships, the Redhawks look to continue to put together a good performance. In her last outing, freshman Danika Himes had a strong weekend in Colorado Springs, earning three top finishes, including a win in the 200 backstroke.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
• The Vandals are 3-6 in head-to-head meets this season, including a WAC win over Northern Colorado.
• Idaho got the better of Seattle U earlier this year as both teams took part in the Husky Invitational.
• Last season, the Vandals finished fifth in the WAC Championships.
• Idaho is led by head coach Mark Sowa who is in his ninth season with the program.
