DENVER – Terrell Brown has been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 20 through Jan. 26. This marks the second honor for Brown this season.
Brown, a redshirt junior guard from Seattle, led the Redhawks on the road in games at Grand Canyon and CSU Bakersfield. Against GCU, the junior scored 31 points to go with four rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in a tight 80-77 loss. He helped SU bounce back on Saturday, putting up 21 points with three rebounds, three assists and a steal in an 86-79 win over the 'Runners. On the year, Brown leads the WAC in scoring at 19.9 points per game and the 6-1 guard is also fourth in rebounding at 6.3 boards per game, second in assists at 4.9 per game and fifth in steals at 1.5 per game.
