FRESNO, CALIF. – Seattle U men’s golf tees off at their second tournament of the season tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. PT as they take on a strong men’s field at the Nick Watney Invitational, hosted by Fresno State at the Fort Washington Country Club from Sept. 30 – Oct. 1.
The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Brigham Young, Cal Baptist, Cal Poly, Cal State Northridge, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Long Beach State, Pacific, Sacramento State, San Diego, San Jose State, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara.
Seattle U’s men will be led by sophomore Federico Gutierrez, who tied for 13th place overall in the weather-shortened Husky Invitational on Sept. 17 with a two-under 142. Classmates Jack Rahon and Nathan Cogswell will join him in the list of entries, as well as junior Quinton Borseth and senior Greg Gionfriddo.
