The season officially tips off on Tuesday, Nov. 5 with a home game against Pacific Lutheran. The Redhawks then head across the state to face the first of two Pac-12 opponents in Washington State on Nov. 7.

The Redhawks then embark on a four-game road swing, all as part of the 2019 NIT Season Tip-Off. They will travel to face 2019 NCAA Tournament teams Syracuse (Nov. 16) and Ole Miss (Nov. 19), before taking on Bucknell and either 2019 NCAA Tournament team Yale or Western Michigan on Nov. 25 and 26 in Orlando.

A three-game home spurt closes out the month of November and opens December as the Redhawks welcome Idaho (Nov. 30) and Incarnate Word (Dec. 3) to the Redhawk Center. On Dec. 7, Seattle U will host WCC member Portland at the accesso ShoWare Center for the annual Elgin Baylor Classic.

On Dec. 17, Seattle U will head across the city to face Washington at Alaska Airlines Arena.

The non-conference portion of the schedule concludes with a pair of home games against Florida A&M (Dec. 21) and Long Beach State (Dec. 23) and a road trip to reigning WCC Tournament champion and 2019 NCAA Tournament team Saint Mary's (Dec. 28).

"We have scheduled as difficult a preseason as we could to test our veteran team and prepare them for WAC play," said Hayford, who enters his 21st season as a head coach this winter. "I know it is very ambitious, but our players have high expectations for themselves and our team this season."

The 16-game Western Athletic Conference schedule tips off on the road just after the 2020 New Year and concludes at home in Seattle in early March.

The Redhawks open league play on the road for the second straight season, traveling to face Kansas City (Jan. 2) and Chicago State (Jan. 4) opening weekend.

But it's a quick return home to the Pacific Northwest for their WAC home opener against Utah Valley on Jan. 11 in the Redhawks Center. The following weekend's play includes a meeting with UTRGV on Jan. 16 and a battle against reigning WAC regular-season and tournament champion, New Mexico State on Jan. 18.

Seattle U heads back out on the road to face Grand Canyon (Jan. 23) and CSU Bakersfield (Jan. 25), before wrapping up the first round of home-and-home play by hosting California Baptist on Feb. 1 at the accesso ShoWare Center.

Round two of league play begins with a three-game road swing at Utah Valley (Feb. 8), New Mexico State (Feb. 13) and UTRGV (Feb. 15).
