SAN FRANCISCO – Just a week after their last tournament, Seattle U men’s golf will tee off at 8:45 AM on Monday, March 11 at the Olympic Club Intercollegiate. The event, hosted by the University of San Francisco at the par-71 Olympic Club, will last for two days.
The Redhawks will be competing against 12 other teams: Brigham Young, Cal Baptist, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, CSU Monterey Bay, Dominican (Calif.), Loyola Marymount, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, San Francisco and Stanford. Both Stanford (no. 25) and CSU Monterey Bay (DII no. 19) are ranked by the Golf Coaches’ Association of America (GCAA).
Seattle U will send freshman Jack Rahon, junior Greg Gionfriddo, freshman Nathan Cogswell, sophomore Gabe Spach and junior Zack Overstreet to San Francisco for the tournament. Spach led the Redhawks in the last tournament, the Sacramento State Invitational, at one stroke over par.
