NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their cross country All-Academic Team selections on Thursday, placing Seattle U on the list for both men’s and women’s cross country. Teams with a collective grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher receive this honor, which was given to 427 men’s and women’s squads.
Seattle U women’s cross country earned a cumulative GPA of 3.41, landing a spot on the All-Academic list with five other Western Athletic Conference women’s teams. The men’s team earned a 3.3 total GPA, which places them among four other WAC men’s teams.
