DENVER – Seattle U's Terrell Brown has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 23 through Dec. 29.

Brown, a senior guard from Seattle, averaged 19.5 points to go with 4.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in a split against Long Beach State and Saint Mary's. Against Long Beach State, he was 6-of-11 from the field for 17 points, adding eight assists and four steals in a 79-57 win at home. Brown kept the Redhawks in the game at Saint Mary's, finishing with a game-high 22 points and seven rebounds with three assists and a block in a road loss. The national leader in field goals made with 121, he has led SU in scoring in 13-of-15 games this season, while surpassing the 20-point mark eight times.

The Redhawks return to action on Jan. 2, opening the New Year and Western Athletic Conference play on the road at Kansas City.
 
Other nominees included: California Baptist center Glenn Morison posted his second double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 92-75 win over Ottawa (Ariz.) on Saturday … NM State guard Trevelin Queen flirted with a triple-double in a lopsided win over Northern New Mexico, finishing with 17 points, eight assists and seven steals in the 104-30 victory.
