• Seattle U beat Long Beach State, 66-54, on Dec. 8, as four Redhawks scored double-digit points. Courtney Murphy made five three-pointers on her way to 19 points, while Kamira Sanders posted 14 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds.
• Senior Kamira Sanders has had a terrific start to the season, as she leads the WAC in points per game (18.6) and steals (23) through 10 outings.
• Warner Pacific has lost its last two games, including a 77-65 loss at Eastern Oregon on Dec. 7. Gabriella Bruno led the Knights with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the contest.
• Four Knights are averaging between 10-13 points per game this season. Courtney Jackson, Samantha Morgan, Gabriella Bruno, and Celeste Pantoja pace a balanced attack for WPU.
• SU won, 88-84, over Sacramento State on Dec. 6. Five different Redhawks scored in double figures, as Georgia Kehoe and Chinwe Ezeonu posted career days. Kehoe put up 16 points and seven rebounds, while Ezeonu had 15 points and eight boards.
• Kamira Sanders contributed 18 points, seven assists, and six rebounds in the win over Sacramento State.
• SU nearly rallied from a 20-point third-quarter deficit, getting within three points of Montana State, but the Bobcats pulled out a 73-65 decision on Nov. 30 at the Redhawk Center. Courtney Murphy led three Redhawks in double figures with 14 points in the contest.
• Seattle U beat Central Washington, 75-65, on Nov. 26 at the Redhawk Center. Kamira Sanders scored 23 points and Joana Alves recorded 22 points to go with a career-high 15 rebounds. Sarah Rahon matched her career high with 12 points, including three three-pointers, on the night.
• Seattle U fell at Washington, 78-46, on Nov. 23. McKenzi Williams scored 13 points in the non-conference game at UW.
• In the game at Washington, Makenna Schoenhofer made her Seattle U debut. The Fortuna, Calif., native has missed her first two seasons at SU due to injury. At UW, she played eight minutes off the bench, making a free throw and grabbing a steal.
• The Redhawks played a dramatic double-overtime game with Idaho on Nov. 20, but the Vandals came away with a 90-84 victory at the Redhawk Center. Courtney Murphy scored a season-high 22 points, while Olivia Crawford scored a career-high 16 in the contest.
• The Idaho game marked the seventh time Seattle U has gone to OT under Coach Suzy Barcomb. Last season, SU and Grand Canyon went to triple overtime to mark the longest game in SU's Division I program history. The other five contests were decided in a single extra session.
• SU dropped an 88-80 decision at Northern Arizona on Nov. 16. Kamira Sanders tied her career high with 30 points in the setback.
• In the game at NAU, Courtney Murphy scored a season-high 14 points, making four three-pointers on the day.
• Seattle U fell, 73-48, at Idaho State on Nov. 11. Joana Alves led with 11 points and five rebounds in the contest.
• SU dropped a 70-63 decision at Utah State on Nov. 9. Senior Kamira Sanders led with a career-high 30 points, going over 1,000 for her career. She is the 18th player in program history to score 1,000 career points at SU.
• The game at Utah State marked the second straight game where Kamira Sanders established a new scoring career high. She scored 28 points in the win over Saint Martin's on Nov. 6, eclipsing her previous career high of 24 points. The Redding, California, native, put up 24 against Grand Canyon on Jan. 17, 2017.
• The Redhawks opened the regular season with a 91-81 win over Saint Martin's on Nov. 6. Kamira Sanders scored a career-high 28 points to lead four Redhawks in double figures.
• Seattle U was voted to finish eighth in both the WAC preseason polls. Senior Kamira Sanders was named Preseason All-WAC First Team by the media and Preseason All-WAC Second Team by the coaches. Joana Alves picked up Preseason All-WAC honors from the coaches.
• Kamira Sanders has scored 944 points in her first three seasons at Seattle U. She earned 2017 WAC Freshman of the Year and 2018 WAC Tournament MVP and will look to cap her career with a strong senior campaign.
• Joana Alves was a 2018 All-WAC Second Team selection after a stellar junior season. She averaged 13.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 2018-19.
• Coach Suzy Barcomb is in her fourth season at Seattle U. She is one of two active NCAA coaches to have taken a team to the NCAA Tournament in all three division levels. NC State's Wes Moore is the only other coach to accomplish the feat.
• SU features six international players on this year's roster, including three from Australia (Georgia Kehoe, Courtney Murphy, Maddy Phillips).
• Freshman Raneem Elbarky is one of just five Egypttian-born players in Division I women's basketball this season.
