SEATTLE — Seattle University men’s swimming returns to action this weekend and will close the 2019 slate of competition when it takes part on the the 71st annual Husky Invitational hosted by the Husky Swimming Foundation. The three-day event will be held Dec. 6-8 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
The Redhawks have posted strong performances at the Husky Invitational in the each of the last three seasons finishing in second-place in the collegiate division in 2016 and 2017 before winning the overall weekend with a first-place tally last season. In 2018, Seattle U medalled in 10 events with first-place accolades in the 200 and 400-yard freestyle relays as well as the 200-yard medley relay.
