• The game at Utah State marked the second straight game where Kamira Sanders established a new scoring career high. She scored 28 points in the win over Saint Martin’s on Nov. 6, eclipsing her previous career high of 24 points. The Redding, California, native, put up 24 against Grand Canyon on Jan. 17, 2017.

• The Redhawks opened the regular season with a 91-81 win over Saint Martin’s on Nov. 6. Kamira Sanders scored a career-high 28 points to lead four Redhawks in double figures.

• Seattle U was voted to finish eighth in both the WAC preseason polls. Senior Kamira Sanders was named Preseason All-WAC First Team by the media and Preseason All-WAC Second Team by the coaches. Joana Alves picked up Preseason All-WAC honors from the coaches.

Kamira Sanders has scored 944 points in her first three seasons at Seattle U. She earned 2017 WAC Freshman of the Year and 2018 WAC Tournament MVP and will look to cap her career with a strong senior campaign.
