SEATTLE --- Seattle U volleyball hosts its final weekend home stand of 2019 as the Redhawks welcome Grand Canyon to the nest on Halloween night before squaring up with CSU Bakersfield on Saturday. First serve for Thursday's match with the Lopes is slated for 6 pm, while the meeting with the 'Runners is schedule for 1 pm.

PROMOS/THEMES
• Thursday, Oct. 31 — $1.00 general admission ticket for fans who wear Halloween costumes to the match against Grand Canyon. There will also be a Trick or Treat session with the players following the match.
• Saturday, Nov. 2 — Senior Day

THEY GOT HISTORY 
Thursday's meeting with Grand Canyon will be the second of the season and the 15th since 2005.  The Redhawks are lead the series 12-2, but are 0-1 on the year. Saturday's match-up with CSU Bakersfield will be the 29th since 2008 with the Redhawks trailing the all-time series, 19-9, with CSUB winning the first meeting of the season. 

A GLIMPSE AT THE LOPES
GCU visits the Redhawk Center on Thursday riding a four-match win streak with a 18-4 record overall and second in the WAC standings at 8-2. 
• The Lopes' 15.61 digs per set is a WAC-best heading into the week, while their listed second in hitting percentage (.245), kills (1,108), opponent hitting (.188). GCU is third is kills per set (12.74).
• Annabelle Kubinski began the week with 2.08 kills per set with a WAC-best .413 hitting. Kaira Moss meanwhile is fourth among WAC leaders in blocks per set (1.08).

A GLIMPSE AT THE 'RUNNERS
CSU Bakersfield began the week with an 8-14 record overall and 3-7 in Western Athletic Conference play.
• The 'Runners are second among the WAC in attacks (3,228) and attacks per set (35.87), but are seventh in hitting (.169) and kills per set (.11.91).
• Defensively, CSUB is third among the WAC in digs per set (14.71) and fourth in blocks per set (2.15). 

WHERE WE RANK
Per NCAA Stats, the Redhawks began the weekend slate ranked 49th in team blocks (197.5). Among the WAC, Seattle U was second in aces (125), fourth in blocks and kills (1,085). 

LOOKING AHEAD
Seattle U returns to action at home Saturday at 1 pm against CSU Bakersfield.
