SEATTLE – Seattle University swimming will host its annual team banquet to honor the 2018-19 Redhawks on Saturday, April 13. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
A reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and the night’s program starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person.
Coach Craig Nisgor's squads continued to rewrite the record books at Seattle U this season. The Redhawks featured a youthful roster that will set up the program for further success in the future.
On the women's side, SU set 16 all-time top-10 times at the WAC Championships in Houston. Emily Gough and Jenessa Schulte will graduate in June.
The men tallied 15 all-time top-10 efforts at the WAC meet, including school records in the 100 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. Greg Raper established a program record in the 100 freestyle, while Mitchell Crossen, Raper, Isaac Parker, and Jake Goguen teamed up to set a new 400 freestyle relay mark. Crossen, Austin Barnard, and Ian Keane will graduate in June.
