SEATTLE - Margaux Thompson of Seattle University women's swimming will be inducted into the SU chapter of Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education. The induction ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, in Pigott Auditorium.
Thompson, a junior from Centennial, Colorado, will be a member of the College of Arts and Sciences. She anchored the school-record-setting 200 freestyle relay at the 2018 WAC Championships.
Alpha Sigma Nu was founded in 1915 to honor students each year based on scholarship, loyalty, and service. It is one of the top recognitions given on a Jesuit campus. Last year, Julia Gorman and Paige Treff of women's swimming were inducted. Matt Alderson of men's tennis also earned the honor in 2018.
