SEATTLE – Seattle University softball has announced the signing of Brooke Milder for the Class of 2019. Milder, a senior at Paso Robles High (Calif.), will join the Redhawks this coming fall.
“Brooke is the type of player that every team needs," said Coach Geoff Hirai. "She has tenacity and grit. She will come in and compete for a starting spot right away, but most of all, she’ll bring a competitive edge to our program.”
Milder is a 5-5 infielder. She has played for Batbuster Gomes (2018-19) in her club career. At Paso Robles High, Milder earned all-league honors in each of the last two years. She has a .360 career batting average and led her team in steals in each of the last two seasons.
SU, off to the best start in Division I program history with 18 wins, heads to Kansas City to begin WAC play this weekend.
