SEATTLE – Let the March Madness begin. Seattle U's men's and women's basketball teams are headed to Las Vegas this week for the 2019 Western Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament. Both Redhawk hoops squads enter the postseason on a roll, each closing out the regular season with back-to-back wins.
THE MATCH-UPS
The Seattle U men earned a pair of thrilling overtime victories over CSU Bakersfield and Grand Canyon last week and enter the WAC Tournament as the No. 6 seed with an overall record of 18-13. The Redhawks will open tournament play on Thursday, Mar. 14 against No. 3 seed Grand Canyon. Tip off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Seattle U's women won two big road games last week on their way to securing the No. 7 seed in the WAC Tournament. The Redhawks will open play on Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 6 p.m. against No. 2 seed UTRGV.
HOW TO FOLLOW
All quarterfinal and semifinal games will be broadcast on ESPN+ while the men's championship game will air on ESPNU and the women's championship game will be carried on ESPN3.
All Seattle U men's games will also be carried on KTTH 770 AM in Seattle and online at mynorthwest.com.

PREGAME RALLIES
Join fellow Seattle U friends, family and alums prior to every Redhawk game in Vegas! Prior to the women's Wednesday night game, the party will begin at 4:30 p.m. at TGI Friday's in the Orleans Hotel. Thursday's rally before the men's opening game will begin at 7 p.m. on the Orleans Arena concourse (more details to follow).
