SEATTLE – Seattle University men's basketball contest against Utah Valley University, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9, has been postponed due to the severe winter storm expected to hit the Seattle area this weekend.
The Western Athletic Conference match-up has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Redhawk Center.
In addition to the game postponement, the department's Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which had been slated for Saturday morning on campus, has also been postponed. A rescheduled date and time for this event will be announced at a later time.
The Redhawks will resume WAC play on the road next week, traveling to face UTRGV on Thursday, Feb. 14 in Edinburg, Texas. Seattle U's next home game is slated for Thursday, Feb. 21 when it hosts Kansas City at 7 p.m. in the Redhawk Center.
