BOISE, IDAHO – In their second tournament of the 2018 fall season, Seattle U men’s tennis heads to Boise, Idaho, to compete in the Dar Walters Fall Classic at Boise State University. The tournament will be held from Oct. 5-7 in three different venues: the Appleton Outdoor Tennis Center, the Boas Indoor Tennis Center and Julia Davis Park. Matches will start at 8:00 AM on all three days, and will feature 32 individuals from 12 teams: Air Force, Boise State, Denver, Gonzaga, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Portland State, Seattle U, Weber State, Whitman and Utah State.
There will be no live scores from the Dar Walters Fall Classic. The event will have three singles draws and one doubles bracket.
In the Redhawks’ last tournament, sophomore Colton Weeldreyer won his consolation singles bracket, defeating his finals opponent 6-2, 6-0. The doubles team of juniors Arshak Ghazaryan and Trenton Nield also made it to their bracket’s consolation final.
