SAN DIEGO – Senior setter Shae Harris and freshman outside hitter Eve Kerschenbaum were named to the Aztec Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading Seattle University volleyball to a 1-1 record.
Harris averaged 9.38 assists per set to go along with 0.75 blocks and 0.88 kills per set. Kerschenbaum averaged 2.75 kills per set while hitting at a .232 clip in her first two collegiate matches. The rookie added a team-best five service aces, 1.50 digs per set and a pair of block assists.
The Redhawks won their 2018 opener, topping Cambell University in straight sets. They took host San Diego State to the limit before falling in five sets.
Seattle U remains on the road this week, traveling to Long Beach State for a Tuesday tilt at Walter Pyramid.
