DENVER – (April 20) Seattle University’s Kimberlee Tottori was voted to the Western Athletic Conference’s All-WAC second team on Friday, as voted by the eight head coaches.
Tottori, a freshman from Las Vegas, led the Redhawks with an average of 75.8 strokes per round in the regular season, and finished tied for sixth place in the WAC championship. She played some of her best golf at the championship, where she shot her lowest round of the year—one-under-par 70. Her best finish on the year came at the Portland State / Eastern Washington Invitational on March 27-29 where she finished in 5th place out of 39 golfers, and led SU to a second place finish.
"Extremely happy for Kimmy," head coach Marc Chandonnet said. "I appreciate her love for the game and her contribution to this program both on and off the course. We are extremely lucky to have her at Seattle University and I'm 100% confident that she will lead our team to some record-breaking performances as the years go by."
