SEATTLE – (Mar. 16) Seattle U baseball hosts British Columbia in a single-game on Saturday, Mar. 17 at Bannerwood Park. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. THe non-conference match-up is the last game before the Redhawks begin Western Athletic Conference play next week at New Mexico State.

- Seattle U enters the match-up with the Thunderbirds with an 11-7 overall record after winning a pair of midweek games over West Coast Conference members Portland and Gonzaga.
- The Redhawks are batting a collective .292, led by Jake Cosgrove's .386 average. The rookie is third on the team in hits with 22 and is tied for second with 11 RBIs. Austin Lively is batting .377 with a team-high 26 hits while Cameron Sterne is hitting .367 and Sean Sutton is batting .345. Sutton and Dalton Hurd are tied for the team lead with 17 RBIs each.
- The Redhawks have 45 total extra-base hits on the year, including 31 doubles, five triples and nine home runs. Dalton Hurd has three of those homers while Lucas Denney has two and four others have one each.
- Dawson Day leads the pitching staff with a 1-0 record and 1.89 ERA in five appearances, including two starts. He has 12 strikeouts in 19.0 innings.
- Jake Prizina is 2-0 with a 3.26 ERA in five starts.The junior lefty has a team-high 27 strikeouts to go along with just six walks issued.
- Zach Wolf has also had a strong start to the year with a 3-0 record, five saves and 21 strikeouts in 15.2 innings and 11 total appearances.
