SEATTLE – (Feb. 18) The Seattle University men’s tennis team had a late night physically enduring win Saturday evening, and turned right around to blank Pacific Lutheran 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Tennis Center at Sand Point.
The Redhakws had some work to do in doubles after losing the point in last night’s match, and they came together to get the point with wins in all three flights of doubles.
Then in singles, Matt Alderson got it all started with a 6-0, 6-1 win at #4. Everyone else followed and got victories in order to complete the shutout.
“The guys did a nice job of taking care of business,” head coach Adam Reeb said. “It’s never easy coming back the next day after a very physical match, but our team came ready to play. We’ve got some things to iron out in doubles, but this is a great group of guys who are working hard and heading in the right direction.”
