NORFOLK, Va. – (Jan. 29) Seattle University men’s swimming earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association Scholar All-America Team recognition for the Fall 2017 academic term.
Coach Craig Nisgor’s squad had a stellar showing in the classroom, compiling a 3.22 team grade point average this fall.
To be honored, a team must have at least a 3.0 GPA for the designated term. SU was one of two Western Athletic Conference men’s teams to be recognized. A total of 688 teams across the NCAA picked up honors this fall.
The Redhawks have claimed Scholar All-America certificates in eight of the last nine academic terms.
