SEATTLE – (Dec. 8) Ten games into the 2017-18 season, Seattle University's men's basketball team sits at 6-4 overall, including a perfect 5-0 record at home. Key to that success has been the trio of graduate transfers - Jordan Hill, Richaud Gittens and Josh Hearlihy.

Contributing 40 percent of the team's total minutes played, as well as 40 percent of the scoring so far this season, their leadership on the court is evident.

Helping grow that leadership skill is each student-athlete's graduate program. Gittens is enrolled in Seattle U's master's of non-profit leadership, Hill is enrolled in the arts leadership program and Hearlihy is studying transformational leadership. All three have found that aspects of their area of study applies both to their leadership skills within the team, as well as helping them shape their future career paths.

Watch the video below for a full update on the first 10 games of the season, as well comments from Gittens, Hearlihy and Hill on their first quarter in their respective graduate programs at Seattle U.
