SEATTLE – (Sept. 7) Seattle U volleyball begins a seven-match road swing this weekend at the Northern Kentucky Invitational in Highland Heights, Ky. The Redhawks will face host NKU, Bowling Green and Sacramento State on Sept. 8-9.

NEWS AND NOTES
- The Redhawks enter the weekend with a 1-5 record after going 0-3 at last weekend's SU/UW Tournament. They dropped three-set matches to Cal Poly, No. 8 Washington and Santa Clara.
- Katarina Glavinic earned her second All-Tournament selection of the season at the SU/UW Tournament. The sophomore middle blocker averaged 1.78 kills per set on a .303 hitting percentage and 0.44 blocks per set.
- Glavinic and Victoria Demmene were selected to the Cal Molten Classic All-Tournament Team. Glavinic averaged 1.91 kills per set on a .500 hitting percentage and 0.82 blocks per set. Demmene averaged 2.00 kps and 1.50 digs per set.
- Katarina Marinkovic leads the team with 3.10 kps, Maja Stojanovic averages 0.89 blocks per set and Shae Harris averages 8.45 assists per set. Glavinic is hitting a team-best .403 and adds 0.65 bps.
- Seattle U has a pair of Preseason All-WAC players in Katarina Marinkovic and Maja Stojanovic. Marinkovic is the reigning WAC Freshman of the Year.
- Junior setter Shae Harris, a Vancouver, B.C. native, spent the summer playing with the Canadian National Team.
- Head Coach James Finley enters his fifth season at the helm of the Redhawk program.
- The 2016 squad went 13-15 overall and 6-8 in WAC play.
